About Trip Split

Trip Split is a web app that helps a group of travellers settle the cost of a trip: everyone records what they paid on their own phone, even with no signal, and at the end you get a short list of transfers.

Who makes it

Trip Split is made and run by sagasu (individual). It is a small independent product, not part of a larger company, and it is paid for by the 10 USD charged per trip, not by advertising or selling data.

What we do not do

We never move money and we do not connect to bank accounts. Trip Split only tells everyone how much to send; you send it the way you always do. There are no accounts for friends to create and no subscription.
